Waiting…

I’ve said it before but infertility involves so much waiting.

Currently, I’m waiting for my period to arrive. Something I’ve done every month for 4 years now, and something that feels harder and more painful each time. And, of course, my latest cycle was the longest I’ve had for over 2 years. 45 long days. I’m desperately hoping this cycle won’t be the same, can the universe give us a break, please?!

Our wine fridge has now become my medication fridge. There’s still wine in there, unopened since Christmas, and when we’re successful I’m going to really enjoy drinking it. (See how I said ‘when’, still clinging onto my tiny ray of hope.)

Infertility can be incredibly isolating. This blog is my way of reaching out, sharing my experiences, and hopefully providing some support to others going through similar challenges.

Infertility can feel very lonely but you are not alone.
