Egg Collection Recovery

The afternoon after my egg collection I set up camp on the sofa and did very little for the next 48 hours. The bloating was much better but I still felt quite uncomfortable. It wasn't too bad first thing in the morning but any time after I'd eaten something I seemed to swell back up again.
My egg collection was on a Friday so I thankfully had the whole weekend to relax and returned to work on Monday without any issues. I was pretty strict at keeping up my fluid intake, I made sure to have a pint of electrolyte drink with breakfast and tried to have 3L in total throughout the day. It meant I was forever going to the toilet but escaped with only mild OHSS symptoms.
I was also pretty hormonal and emotional. I found myself randomly crying over something stupid on TV or getting irate with someone for no reason. I had a withdrawal bleed 4 days after egg collection. It was heavy and painful and I was advised not to use tampons which made it extra fun...
I'm doing a freeze-all cycle so I have to wait until my next 'proper period' before we can start the next stage. My clinic had advised me that the cycle between the withdrawal bleed and your next period can be longer than usual and, with my history of ridiculous PCOS cycles, I was dreading how long it would take. Thankfully it was only 30 days and shorter than the two cycles I'd had prior to my egg collection!
Now the scary part, our first transfer.
